Pet Food Packaging Built for Durability
Pet food packaging faces tougher challenges than human food. Bags get dragged, boxes get stacked, and kibble creates abrasion that can break through inferior packaging. Our custom pet food boxes use heavy-duty materials and secure closures to protect your products. Pricing starts at $0.72 each for standard sizes at 500+ quantity. Box Configurations for Pet Food
Different pet food types need different packaging:
- Treat box: 6x4x3 inches, holds single-serving treat bags
- Small kibble box: 8x5x4 inches, holds 2-3 lb bags
- Medium kibble box: 10x7x5 inches, holds 5-10 lb bags
- Treat sampler: 9x6x2 inches, variety pack of multiple treats
- Premium gift box: 12x9x4 inches, luxury treats or holiday gifts

Material Strength Requirements
Pet food packaging needs heavier materials than typical retail boxes:
- 24pt SBS paperboard: standard strength, 40% stronger than 18pt
- E-flute corrugated: maximum durability for heavy bags, add $0.18 per box
- Double-wall corrugated: for 20+ lb bags or wholesale, add $0.35 per box
Corrugated is recommended for any box that will be stacked more than 3 units high in retail or warehouse environments.
