Design Tips for Holographic
Holographic requires different design thinking:
Less is more with text: Holographic surfaces can make small text hard to read. Use bold fonts and keep critical information on non-holographic areas or in solid colors.
Black and white work best: These colors create maximum contrast against holographic backgrounds. Colored inks on holographic can get lost.
Plan for variability: Holographic materials have slight variations in pattern placement. Designs should be forgiving of this.
Consider the viewing angle: Test your design under different lighting. What looks great under showroom lights might look different on a store shelf.
