A flat pouch is a three-side-seal bag: sealed on three edges, no bottom gusset, so it lies flat instead of standing on shelf. That makes it thinner to store and ship, and simpler to fill by hand. Choose a stand-up pouch instead if the bag has to hold itself upright facing a shopper.
What kinds of products suit a flat pouch?
Flat, light and single-serve items: sample sachets, sheet masks, seasoning, seeds, small hardware, cards and accessories. Anything bulky sits awkwardly, because a flat pouch has no base to spread the weight across.
