Sizing for Tincture Bottles
Tincture bottles come in standard sizes, and the box dimensions need to match precisely:
- 15ml (0.5oz): Box size approximately 1.2x1.2x3.5" with dropper cap
- 30ml (1oz): Box size approximately 1.5x1.5x4" (the most common tincture size)
- 60ml (2oz): Box size approximately 1.75x1.75x4.5"
- 120ml (4oz): Box size approximately 2x2x5.5"
Each box includes 3-5mm clearance around the bottle on all sides. Interior foam insert or corrugated divider holds the bottle centered and prevents movement during shipping.

Not all tincture bottles fit in all boxes. Beyond the basics (15ml, 30ml, 60ml, 120ml), variations in cap styles, dropper types, and glass thickness affect fit:
Standard dropper caps: Most common. Capped height ranges from 55mm to 75mm depending on bottle volume. Box dimensions must accommodate the capped height plus 5mm clearance.
child-resistant caps: Push-and-turn or squeeze-and-turn mechanisms are taller than standard caps by 5-10mm. Factor this into your box dimensions.
Euro dropper caps: Shorter, more compact. Popular in European markets. Allow for smaller box dimensions.
Pump dispensers: Used for some topical products. Taller than droppers. Requires custom box sizing.
