Client gift boxes can combine custom printed presentation packaging, sourced merchandise, approved inserts, kitting, and recipient shipping. Teal uses a 50-unit MOQ for most custom packaging and a 100-unit MOQ for sourced merchandise. The quote confirms the box fit, item selection, assembly sequence, address plan, free dieline, and digital proof before production.

Client gift boxes need a clear purpose and a controlled delivery plan. A team may send a thank-you after a project, mark a renewal, welcome a new account, or plan a seasonal business gift. In each case, the package has to protect the selected contents and carry the intended message. A generic carton can deliver an item, but a custom printed box gives the recipient a defined opening experience.
Teal manufactures custom-printed packaging. Teal sources merchandise when the selected gifts are part of the quote. Teal's West Chicago operation handles kitting, assembly, pick-pack, and ship-to-recipient work when quoted. This creates a practical route for client gift boxes that includes packaging, selected items, assembly, and recipient delivery in one scoped request.
For broader business gifting ideas, review corporate gifts. For seasonal packages, compare client holiday gift boxes.
Start with the client moment
Define what the package should communicate. A project closeout gift may need a short thank-you card and a polished opening sequence. A renewal package may need a product note and a durable mailer. A seasonal customer gift box may use one approved package with a controlled address schedule. The message, item choices, package format, and arrival date should be decided together.
- Custom printed box, mailer, sleeve, insert, or presentation component.
- Sourced merchandise selected for the recipient and confirmed in the quote.
- Approved card, printed note, product information, or packing instruction.
- Protective packing that keeps each item in the intended position.
- Pick-pack and ship-to-recipient handling for the destination list in the approved scope.
Client gifts can be identical for every recipient or can use controlled versions. A different note may be needed for a renewal group. A different product may fit a particular use case. If versions exist, list the quantity and assembly difference before the dieline is finalized. This avoids treating a mixed order as a single package with an unclear packing plan.
Make the box fit the gift
Package selection starts with the actual merchandise. Teal can source tumblers, hoodies, water bottles, and basics when the selected items are included in the quote. Those are sourced products. Teal does not claim to manufacture them. The quote should confirm product choice, decoration, color, size mix, dimensions, availability, and packing method before a client gift box is approved.
A box that is too large can allow movement. A box that is too small can damage the contents or change the assembly time. Share a product reference, dimensions, and any protective requirement. If the item is still under consideration, give the desired use case and budget direction. Teal can then review a suitable sourcing path without presenting an unconfirmed product as available.
Print shops do not fulfill and 3PLs do not print. Teal does both. Teal manufactures the custom-printed presentation packaging and can quote kitting, assembly, pick-pack, and ship-to-recipient work. The buyer should ask for each responsibility to be identified in the quote so packaging production, sourced merchandise, assembly, and delivery are easy to review.
Use proofing to control presentation
Teal provides a free dieline and a digital proof for custom packaging. Check the logo placement, panel copy, colors, print areas, closure, insert position, and item fit. The proof should reflect the approved client message and the actual opening order. If a card needs to be visible when the lid opens, say so. If the gift needs an inner tray, sleeve, or divider, include that construction in the package brief.
Do not use the proof as a substitute for a complete contents list. If the merchandise changes after the package is drawn, fit, protection, and assembly may change. Confirm the selected item and quantity before print release. A sample kit priced at $19.99 is available and is credited toward the first order. Use the sample option when a buyer needs to review the package physically before a larger production run.
Per-client curation and ongoing gifting
Teal curates client gift boxes per client program. The client supplies the audience, message, item direction, brand files, quantity, recipient pattern, and target date. Teal uses those requirements to quote custom packaging, source selected merchandise, and define kitting and delivery. A program with a small set of high-touch recipients can have a different package from a broad customer shipment, even when both are called client gifts.
For recurring gifting, Teal can build a custom-built branded store service around approved merchandise and packaging. It is a quote-led, custom-built service for the client. It is not a self-serve platform and it is not a per-employee ordering platform available today. The client and Teal confirm the approved products, box versions, artwork, replenishment plan, recipient data process, and shipping scope before use.
MOQ and price planning
Most custom packaging starts at a 50-unit MOQ. Specialty packaging and specialty items may use 100 or more. Sourced merchandise uses a 100-unit MOQ, including sourced tumblers, hoodies, water bottles, and basics when selected. The package quantity and gift quantity do not always have the same practical constraints, so ask Teal to state the MOQ by component in the quote.
Qualifying custom packaging may start from about $0.44 per unit at volume. This reference does not price sourced merchandise, kitting, assembly, pick-pack, shipping, or every box configuration. Free US shipping, a free dieline, a digital proof, and the $19.99 sample kit credit are part of the offer, with destination and service details confirmed in the quote.
Teal is a US manufacturer with production facilities in West Chicago, Illinois and Guangzhou. Per-job routing controls the production path. A company production location is not a promise that a particular client gift box will be produced in the United States.
Schedule recipient delivery
Eligible in-house work may run in about 7 business days; specialty imported work may take about 12 weeks. These are planning ranges, not guarantees. The complete schedule can include merchandise sourcing, artwork approval, proofing, package production, kitting, address validation, pick-pack, and shipment. Rush service may carry a 7-25% premium depending on the job. The rush amount is quoted for the actual components and date.
Provide the desired arrival date rather than only the send date. Include the number of recipients, address count, domestic or international destinations, gift versions, and whether any addresses must be held until a release date. If the package will be sent to an office for later distribution, state who receives it and how many shipments are expected. Teal can then quote a delivery process that reflects the real work.
Client gift box brief
- Define the client occasion, message, recipient group, quantity, address pattern, and target arrival date.
- List the sourced gift choices, decoration, colors, sizes, product dimensions, and protection needs.
- Describe the custom package, insert copy, logo files, colors, opening order, and desired presentation.
- Ask for packaging, sourced merchandise, kitting, assembly, pick-pack, shipping, MOQ, and timing as separate quote lines.
- Review the dieline, digital proof, sample option, address file, final contents, and release plan before print.
Keep the recipient data and gift versions organized. If the client list has restrictions on delivery dates or addresses, include those rules in the brief. If the package repeats, identify the stable artwork and the fields that change. This gives Teal a usable plan for production and recipient shipping without assuming that every future order has the same item availability.
Release the customer gift boxes
Client gift boxes are ready for release when the message, contents, packaging, artwork, assembly order, recipient file, and arrival date have an approved scope. Teal can then manufacture the custom-printed presentation packaging, source the selected merchandise, and perform the quoted kitting, pick-pack, and ship-to-recipient work. Send the client gifting brief to request a quote.
