Test Kit Packaging is a custom-printed paperboard folding carton for diagnostic, sampling, and at-home test kit brands that need components organized and clearly labeled. Built from SBS white or kraft paperboard, every carton is printed to your exact artwork in full color.
Clear panel printing lets you place instructions, step numbers, and brand marks where users look first, which cuts confusion at unboxing. An auto-bottom carton snaps into shape fast for high-volume fulfillment, and printing inside the lid gives you extra room for directions. Kits with swabs, vials, and instruction cards stay tidy and presentable from warehouse to doorstep.

Kit Assembly Volumes and Tray Design
Kits fail when components migrate. A thermoformed or molded pulp tray gives every item a seat, and the deepest component sets the interior height for the whole box. Leaflet or instruction thickness has to be allowed for at the design stage, and any claim about the contents remains yours to make rather than ours.
| Kits | Component seating guidance |
|---|---|
| 50 | Assembly trials with the full component list. |
| 500 | A pilot distribution across a few sites. |
| 1,000 | Two component counts on one tray family. |
| 5,000 | Tray tooling disappears inside the kit price. |
| 10,000+ | Program distribution from about $0.44 per unit at volume. |
Two timings are realistic here: kits assembled on equipment we control may be finished by about 7 business days, specialty imported trays generally need about 12 weeks, both counted as planning ranges, not guarantees. Free dieline design is included for the tray and outer we develop. Send the component list with dimensions, leaflet thickness, tray preference, and program volume.
